During October, Priority Automotive will be making a donation to Komen Central & Eastern Virginia for every car sold. Their goal this year... sell 500 cars! If they reach their goal, Priority will make a $25,000 donation to Komen CEVA!

Home Team Grill will raffle off an NFL jersey every Sunday in October to benefit Komen Central & Eastern Virginia. Tickets may be purchased any time during the week.

During the month of October, Simon is offering customers the opportunity to receive a discount pass valid at participating stores by making a $10 donation to Susan G. Komen®. Daisy's Vintage, LLC: in Yorktown
the month of October

Daisy’s Vintage LLC, in cooperation with ReDesign with Prima, will be selling raffle tickets ($5 for one or $20 for five) throughout the month of October in support of breast cancer awareness. All money from the sale of tickets will be donated to Susan G. Komen Central & Eastern Virginia.

ReDesign with Prima has donated 3 furniture transfers. Susan Egyud, of The Broken Oar and a vendor in Daisy’s Vintage, and Beverly Runton-Moorhouse, owner and partner of Daisy’s Vintage, have used two of the transfers to reimagine a side table and a large mirror. Both of these items will be raffled. The third winner will win the third furniture transfer donated by ReDesign with Prima.

The drawing for the 3 items will take place on November 2 in front of Daisy’s Vintage LLC, 7330-D George Washington Mem Highway, Yorktown. The winners do not have to be present to win. Call 757-527-3725 to purchase your tickets.

Coastal Edge Surf for the Cure: in Virginia Beach
October 4, 5, 11 and 12

Surf for the Cure is an annual surfing competition and day of water awareness in Virginia Beach hosted by the Wahine Surf Club and Sponsored by Coastal Edge.  Their mission is to raise awareness of breast cancer through Surfing. Proceeds from the event benefit Komen Central & Eastern Virginia.

Pink Promise Luncheon: in Richmond
Friday, October 4

Please join us for this year's Pink Promise Luncheon - a day where we celebrate our breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. Relax and enjoy one another at our Sips and Sparkle Reception from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Then, sit back and enjoy a delicious luncheon in The Jefferson's Grand Ballroom from noon to 1:30 PM as Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Richard Hoefer, takes us on a journey of The History of Breast Cancer and the evolution of breast cancer diagnosis, surgery, and treatment.

Tickets are $30 for breast cancer survivors and $45 for all other guests. Tables of 10 may be purchased for $400.

Join us for a night of BUNCO, a fun dice game. It's an excuse to spend time with friends and raise funds for Team CEVA.

Never played BUNCO? No problem. It is a social dice game involving 100% luck and no skill. There are no decisions to be made, just scoring and a simple set of rules. Hampton Roads Praise Fest in Portsmouth

The Hampton Roads Praise Fest is an annual event that unites African-Americans and unifies the faith-based community through music, song, and arts. This year's focus is on bringing breast cancer awareness to the community.

Hampton Roads Praise Fest has teamed up with Susan G. Komen Central & Eastern Virginia and the local hospital to offer free mammograms pre-concert. The Hampton Roads Praise Fest will donate a portion of ticket sales to Komen CEVA to further research, and help understand the cause of the disease that’s affecting our hometown.

At these events Wacoal offers complimentary bra fittings, and for each woman who participates Wacoal donates $2 to Susan G. Komen®. Wacoal also donates $2 for every Wacoal or b.tempt’d bra or shapewear piece purchased at a Fit for the Cure® event. As part of this Fit for the Cure program, together with other promotions conducted by Wacoal, Wacoal will donate an aggregate guaranteed minimum donation of $250,000 to Komen in 2019 to support Komen's National Treatment Assistance program and other local community health programs.
