2015 Survivor Celebration banner v2

Make plans now to join us for our 10th Annual Survivor Celebration on Saturday, October 3. Each year, we gather for a special luncheon to celebrate breast cancer survivors who have been diagnosed, fought through treatment, and come out on the other side surviving and thriving! This is a unique opportunity for survivors, their co-survivors, and guests to network, celebrate, pamper themselves, and support each other during an afternoon at Richmond’s landmark Jefferson Hotel.

Come be inspired by Kristin Harris, a young breast cancer survivor and the 4th generation in her family to have the disease, as she shares her message of hope, humor, and tenacity.

Tickets are $25 for breast cancer survivors and $35 for all other guests. Tables of 10 may be purchased for $250. This is one of our most popular and inspirational events each year, so don’t wait to get your ticket.

 Pink Out logo - horizontal

Each year, many schools contact Susan G. Komen Central Virginia with plans to host a Pink Out event to raise awareness and funds to help in the fight against breast cancer. We are always impressed by the creative ideas and thankful for the dollars raised from these events.

Over the past 18 years, and thanks in part to past Pink Out events, Komen Central Virginia has provided over $5.3 million in grants to local service providers to pay for education, screening, patient navigation, and other costs associated with breast cancer. In addition, we have contributed over $1.7 million to fund cutting edge research programs which have developed drugs and protocols to change the prognosis for those diagnosed with the disease.

We invite you to consider hosting a Pink Out event this year. The Komen Central Virginia Teen Advisory Board (KTAB) has developed a Pink Out Kit to help you get started and is available to help you plan your event.

To fill out a Pink Out event request, click here and we will give you a call. For more information about Pink Out events, click here or contact us at (804) 320-1772 or info@komencentralva.org.

We hope you will join us in the fight against breast cancer. Together, WE CAN make a difference!
