My Story

This year, I registered for the Komen Race for the Cure because I wanted to take action and be More Than Pink.

On January 6, 2016 my life would change for me, my family, and my friends. I was diagnosed with Stage 3a breast cancer.

Then my journey started.

I had to go through the following treatment path: 5 months of chemo, a mastectomy along with 8 nodes, 5 weeks of daily radiation, and reconstructive surgery and treatment.

In August of 2019 I will be cancer FREE for 3 Years.

I Praise God for my family, friends, doctors, and nurses. I have been blessed to have so much LOVE and SUPPORT from everyone!

My husband, Chris, was my ROCK through my journey. He came to every appointment and took care of me during my good and bad days. Our 4 kids: Barry, Mike, Chyra, and Tori were a tremendous support to me with phone calls, visits, cards, and prayers.

I love and cherish my family!

I walk for ME!!!!!!!!!
